Inner Strength

Inner strength is an amazing thing all of us have.  Some have dug deep and found it and others have not figured out they have it.  That inner strength may come out on its own; like when you are nervous about speaking in front of people and you do great or when you get scared about taking a test and you pass it.  Inner strength gives you that bit of confidence that you need.

Inner strength is not when you act on anger or used in a negative action.  Inner strength is what helps you decide to do the right thing and keep your cool during intense moments.  It is the voice that says you do not need to follow the crowd or do what your friends do when you disagree with it.  Inner strength makes you feel good about your decision even if you are alone.

Inner strength can also be what encourages you to help someone in need, whether it is a stranger or someone you know.  Inner strength is what helps you help yourself.  If it is to say yes I need to find a different crowd to hang with or yes I need mental or medical help.  It may, also, be what helps you to decide to live.  Sometimes you don’t feel that strength until the last second, but it will pull through for you if you let it.

When you feel lost, the inner strength helps you find your way.  When you cannot take it anymore, it helps you make it another day.  When you feel alone, that will be your reminder that you are not.  When you are in survival mode, inner strength is what gets you through it.  But it doesn’t only help you when things are bad. During an interview for a job you really want, inner strength will be what pushes you through no matter how nervous you may be.  Inner strength helps you get through your day in various ways.  So, believe in yourself, if there is a will there is a way.
