Nature's Stress Relief

Whenever it rained while we were at a park, most people would run to the nearest store. If it didn’t stop within ten minutes, several people would leave. I never understood why. The rain is refreshing, especially on a hot day. Not to mention, the lines for the rides shrank and those who decided to stay then would be that much closer to the front of the line.
On cool winter days (in Florida), people would stay inside because it’s too cold. That would actually be the best day to go to places like Disney Springs. Those who choose to go there pretty much have the place to themselves. Nothing better to clear the head than a hot drink while on a brisk walk.
In Michigan, Lake Michigan is always a great place to visit in the fall. Watching the waves while bundled in a blanket sitting in the sand can be breath taking and relaxing that only peace fills your mind. The breeze rolling off the lake chills you, but the view is to gorgeous to leave.
Going to the peer in Clearwater, Florida just to watch the sunset is amazing. The peer is crowded, but the nature that is surrounding you brings harmony to your evening. From the different kind of birds that fly in and out of the area to the dolphins swimming by, they fill your heart with a sweet song. As you watch the sunset with the crowd, you all feel like one because you all have the same purpose of being there.
There is always sitting anywhere watching the clouds float by. Sometimes they remind you of something and other times they are warning you about something. Either way, you can lose yourself in the sky. It relaxes you and releases the stress you may have been feeling.
Why spend tons of money on places that are supposed to help you feel better, when nature can do the same thing… if you let it. I mentioned specific places. But I am sure there are places near you that are similar them.
