I sit in a place that calms me to watch the water flow
Listening to the waves crashing on the shore below.
The thoughts and contemplations that rustle through my head
While I am staring at the water go silent and flow out with each rolling tide.
The sky is dark and the clouds take turns covering up the moon as I feel loneliness
consume me and my heart is full of gloom
I wonder if U stand alone in the world I live in.
My thoughts, feelings, ideas- are they unique?
Is it only me?
Do I stand alone?
Is there no one who will understand me?
I feel a light shine on my face
I look up to the sky to see the shape of the moon
But what I saw was amazing; it was the answer to my questions
The clouds and moon formed an eye staring down on me.
letting me know I am not alone and to continue being me.
Thank you, water, moon, and clouds for being there for me.
Thank you, God, for having me see the eye letting me know that you are watching me
I look back to the water with a smile on my face and let the sounds of the waves
relax me once again
